RECAP: In the last chapter, Nick saw Alexa crying and comforted her and she told him that her best friend Lisa died. Also, she was going to go to the funeral in North Dakota, which meant leaving Nick and the tour for the next few weeks. What will happen next? Find out now! (P.S. At the end of this chapter..you'll be raising on Google trying to look me up so you can come to my house and bang down my door! LOL You'll understand when you get to the end..hehe. Let's just say I'll need Big Rob BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG TIME!!) (Meanwhile) (With Joe) (Joe was pulling everything out of the fridge, trying to find some Gatorade or something. But all that was left were a few bottles of water and an apple. Joe picked up the apple, examined it for a moment, and then a devious smile spread across his face, and the smile only became wider as he heard Kevin on the phone with Hope in his room. Joe put the apple behind his back and started walking towards Kevin's room. He slowly turned the knob and opened the door a crack. He peeked in and saw Kevin sitting on his bed, phone in hand.) Kevin: (Talking on phone) Are you sure you're okay?.....Okay well as long as you're sure because I really care about you.....okay...Love you too...bye. (Hangs up and rests head against headboard and sighs) Joe: (Walks in the room) Hey, Kevin. Who were you talking to? Kevin: Is it any of your business? Joe: No, but I'm making it my business. Kevin: If you absolutely HAVE to know who I was talking to, I was talking to Hope. She's upset. Joe: About what? (Still holding apple behind back) Kevin: (Sighs) Her grandma was diagnosed with cancer. Joe: That's horrible! Kevin: I know. If she had been sobbing any harder..man. My heart would've ripped in two. I hate hearing her upset. Joe: I hate hearing ANYONE upset. (Thinks: Forget about waving this apple in front of his face..I would've done it any other day to annoy him but not today. He's too upset.) Kevin: Yeah..hey where are Nick and Alexa? Joe: I have NO idea. I think Nick went next door to her room. He sat on me this morning, by the way. Kevin: Nice. Joe: After I consumed a box of cookies. Kevin: Only you, Joe. Only you. Joe: I'm gonna go downstairs and get the newspaper. I'll be back in a few. Kevin: Okay. I'll be here..doing nothing. Joe: Have fun. (Leaves) (Meanwhile) (Nick is still holding Alexa close and she wipes away the last of her tears and stands up.) Nick: Wow.. Alexa: Wow what? Nick: (Stands up with her) This is just...wow. It's taking a while for my mind to process it all. Alexa: Same here. And Nick..I really don't want to leave you but.. Nick: I know. I understand. Don't worry. I'll be fine. (Thinks: I hope) (They stood there looking at each other, forces of love pulling them closer together..closer..closer..closer..until their lips were touching and they were locked in an embrace...it was the kind of kiss that lasts only a few seconds but the kind that can still be felt on your lips years afterward...) Nick: Alexa..(Takes her hands) No matter what happens these next few weeks while we're away from each other..just know that wherever you are..I'll be there too. I'm always with you in your heart. And whenever you need me..even if it's at 3 in the morning..I'm just a phonecall away..and if you can't reach me there, speed dial my heart. (Smiles at her and kisses her again) (With Joe) (He was in the lobby and headed for the newspaper rack. He was about to pick up a newspaper when another sight caught his eye. He saw the image on the front of the magazine and rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things..but it was still there. He gasped and grabbed the magazine and paid for it quickly and nearly knocked people over trying to get back up to their room. Things did NOT look good...) (Up in the Jonas Room) (Nick took Alexa into their suite for a drink of water. He poured her some water and he grabbed himself a Diet Coke. They stood by the counter, Alexa staring down at her hands. All of a sudden, Kevin walked in the room.) Kevin: Hey guys. Alexa are you okay? You look like you've been crying. (Nick and Alexa told him about Lisa and everything) Kevin: Oh my goodness..I'm so sorry, Alexa. (Gives her a big hug) Alexa: So am I, Kevin. Kevin: (Tells them about Hope's grandma) Nick: Wow..this is the best day ever, isn't it? (Sarcastic) Kevin: Ya think? (Leans back on the counter) (Joe bursts in the door, out of breath, magazine in hand) Joe: (Panting) Guys! Nick: Not now Joe. Joe: But guys! Look at this! (He slaps magazine on counter and they all gasp) (There on the front of the magazine..is a picture of Nick and Alexa at the park in Florida kissing...and in big letters it said: NICK JONAS LIES ABOUT HAVING GIRLFRIEND...)
